For those who don’t know them, Ptôse was a sort of French new wave version of The  Residents (they appeared on Ralph records at the time) with a very weird sense of  humour and absurd lyrics. Poisson soluble (1983) includes great alternative versions of  their best known hits like Boule, Eat your fish and Ecraser la vermine +  many great  rarities, Moxisylte N. (1981) has the same taste but in a even weirder way and with a   touch of Cabaret Voltaire. As bonus, you’ll find the famous Women in the moon, mythic  1-sided 7” who had been released on the Sordide Sentimental label in 1980. (digipack) Ecraser la vermine! Légère altercation
